The Camp

This school is specifically designed by the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and is aimed at young people who want to improve their English language and football skills.

It brings together athletes from all over the world and provides them with a stimulating environment to learn and have fun.

Students receive genuine, top quality coaching, delivered by professionals hand-picked from the Foundation. All classes are conducted in English to familiarise the children with the language.

At the end of the stay, everyone will receive a certificate signed by Harry Redknapp, director of the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and a medal. The programme is very popular with students of all ages and from next year will also be developed for girls.

The Twin Summer centre has four campuses where the children will spend their time: Saint Catherine’s School in Guildford, Haywards Heath in Sussex, Saint Dunstans College in London and Friends School in Saffron Walden.

Saint Catherine’s School in Guildford: located in the Surrey countryside, 30 minutes from London by train. Guildford’s shopping centre and historic castle are only 5 miles from the school and the town offers first class entertainment, including: Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, National Trust and the River Wey. The school has 80 acres of grounds with football pitches, tennis courts, dormitories for 2-6 students, classrooms and single rooms.

Haywards Heath in Sussex: Ardingly Village is located within walking distance of the town centre and the village of Haywards. It is also 40 miles from London Heathrow Airport and 9 miles from London Gatwick Airport. You have the option of spending Easter studying English only with activities and excursions to nearby attractions. It offers double and triple rooms, tennis courts, indoor heated swimming pool, gymnasium, badminton, basketball and cricket courts, volleyball and football pitches.

Saint Dunstans College in London: Very close to the historic centre of the English capital, excursions to the most important places in the city are included: Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral and Oxford Street. Students can visit the school twice a week with school staff. The school is located in a Victorian building with extensive gardens in the residential area of Catford, 15 minutes from the centre. It offers classrooms, common rooms, a main hall, 25-metre indoor swimming pool, sports complex, tennis court and football pitches.

Friends School at Saffron Walden: Close to the City of London and Cambridge. It occupies 12 hectares on the edge of Saffron Walden. The nearest airport is London Stansted (21 kilometres away). You can visit museums, castles and historic buildings. The school offers double, triple and quadruple rooms, tennis court, indoor swimming pool, football pitches and courts for basketball, badminton and cricket.

The Tottenham Hotspur Foundation

The Tottenham Hotspur Foundation is the charitable and community arm of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, one of England’s oldest and most respected football clubs. Founded with the aim of creating life-changing opportunities, the Foundation has been a pillar in the local community and beyond, using the power of sport and education to address key social issues.

The foundation offers a variety of programmes ranging from youth development and social inclusion to training and employability. These programmes are designed to reach different demographic groups, including children, youth at risk, adults struggling to find employment and older people. In doing so, the foundation seeks to improve the health, well-being and life prospects of individuals in the community.

With the collaboration of various partners, from local authorities to non-profit and corporate organisations, the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation has made a significant impact. Its work has been recognised with several awards and is a model of how sports clubs can play a vital role in improving the communities they serve. In short, the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation represents not only the club’s commitment to football, but also its commitment to creating positive social change.
